Djokovic winner of Australian Open 2011

Novak Djokovic had an easy finals match against the Scot Andy Murray. The match was largely a one sided event, with Nole winning in 3 straight sets, thus not many huge trading opportunities in this final match.

Federer to win 1st round in Cincinnati

Federer had a shock loss in his first round in Toront against Simon. He had a lot of chances to close the match out, but just made to many silly mistakes. This will not happen again this week. Federer has had a week to improve, and prepare himself to revenge his bad result last week. Ginepri played well this spring on clay, but hopefully he peaked to early and will get an early exit in Cincinnati.

Get on Federer at 1.1 to beat Ginepri at Betfair.

Roger's cup in Toronto

Andy Murray will play Rafael Nadal in the Semi Final of Rogers cup. Murray beat Djokovic, for the first time in 4 meetings between the two, in his quarter final. A very good result for him, but Nadal is in a different class from everyone else at the moment, and Murray is a perfect match up for Nadal. Get on at 1.23 at Betfair on a Nadal win.

Wimbledon trades

Today we have fount two interesting trading matches. Ancic-Ferrer and Safin- Seppi.

We believe that Ferrer is a good trade at around 1.9 to beat Ancic. Ferrer has shown some nice progress on the grass, and he is fighter that never gives up. Traders like to bet on him, because they know that he will give his 100 percent on every ball.

Safin surprised a lot of people with his win over the third seed Djokovic, and every time he plays his best tennis, the next match is in danger of being a disaster for him. Seppi is really a clay courter, but grass is slower these days and his steady play can upset a mentally unstable Safin. An outright back of Seppi is the trade at 3.4. If Safin keeps up his good play from the Djokovic match, he will win today also, but we have to consider his history of erratic play and bet against him this time.

Today's trade Spain-Italy

Spain-Italy meet in the last quarterfinal, and the winner will play Russia in the semi. Spain are favourites with the bookmakers, but history shows us that they never beat Italy in championships. Will they break this spell tonight? We doubt it. Our trade is a Lay of Spain, thinking that this will either be a 1-0 win for Italy ( consider Luca Toni as first goal scorer) or a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. Italy will be odds on in a possible penalty shoot out.

We also think that this will be a tense match with a lot of yellow cards. Buy cards in this match.

Good luck!

1-1 correct score traded at odds 1000 LIVE at Betfair

During Live trading at the Correct score market Netherlands-Russia 1-1 was traded at 1000. Some lucky guy got matched for 200 USD, and won 200 000 USD on that bet. They layer ( probably using a bot laying the field) obviously made a mistake, and layed the wrong outcomes at 1000.

This is very unusual, at least at those odds and amounts.

Russians Trash Netherlands after impressive display

The Russians fully deserved their place in the Semi final, where they will meet either Spain or Italy. The russians had plenty of goal scoring opportunities, but only got one past Van der Sar in the first 90 minutes. The Overs trade did not return us any money tonight, as the bet is only valid for the 90 minutes, and does not include extra time.

Todays Euro 2008 Tip

Tonights match is Netherland-Russia. Two teams with great attacks, and one team with a dodgy defense, Russia. We thing a good trade on this match would be to have a buy position on over 2.5 goals. This is traded at around 2.0 at the moment, and that looks like an attractive price.

We may even consider going over 3.5 and higher during live play. This russian defense will get tested tonight we think.

Good luck, and check back for more trading tips soon.

Turkey are through to the Semi Finals

An amazing finish to pretty boring match between two teams that were very passive during the first 90 minutes. Turkey came alive a bit in injury time, and had a few decent chances. After the Turkish goalkeeper awarded a late goal for the Croats, 1.01 were matched at betfair on the Croats...those layers are now in coma after Turkeys last second goal, effectively taking it to penalties...were Turkey had an easy win.

Only 4 yellow cards ( and 0 red cards) in this game. So money lost on that trade.

Wimbledon - The most important tennis tournament in the world

There are several top contenders for the 2008 wimbledon title. Most people think that Roger Federer will add another victory to his awesome record at the championships, but he is sure to be tested by the likes of Rafael Nadal, who is in top form after a very successful clay court season and the ever improving Novak Djokovic who already has one 2008 major title to his name, the Australian Open. Will Andy Murray have a chance? He is the young british hope after Tim Henman retired last year.

Wimbledon begins next week. Will Federer win another title, or will this be Nadal's year. Stay tuned for great tips on tennis!

Special tip for Croatia-Turkey

We think we will see lot of agression and tension during tonights match. Therefore we advice to buy cards on this match. Bet on high number of yellow cards, bet on red card shown, even penalty is possibility here.

Good luck

Todays tips

Tonights match is Croatia-Turkey

We believe Croatia will win this match, so will start off with a position on Croatia. If Croatia goes a goal up, we will shift our position and go for Turkey. We saw in the last game Turkey played that they go all out attacking when behind. This resulted in 3 goals for them last time, and we think that they will score again tonight if behind.

Good luck everyone, and keep an eye out for more trading tips on this blog.
